How does the QR code seating chart work?

You create your event, add your guest list with table assignments, then download a QR code to print and display at the venue entrance. Guests scan it with their phone camera, type their name, and instantly see their table number. No app download, no account, no password required.

How much does FindMyTable cost?

FindMyTable has two plans. The Free plan covers 1 event with up to 50 guests and includes the QR code seat finder. The Pro plan is a one-time $75 fee with unlimited guests and every feature unlocked, photo gallery, menu & floor plan, digital guest book, music requests, event schedule, live analytics, and wedding registry links.

Is it really a one-time fee? No monthly charges?

Yes, $75 once, forever. There are no monthly subscriptions, no per-guest fees, no hidden charges. You pay once when you upgrade to Pro, and your event stays active.

Can I make changes after I print the QR code?

Yes, and that's one of the best parts. You can rearrange tables, add guests, swap seats, or update any details right up until the moment of the event. The QR code always points to the latest version of your seating chart, no reprinting required.

How many guests can I have?

The Free plan supports up to 50 guests. The Pro plan ($75 one-time) supports unlimited guests. We've had events with 400+ guests run smoothly.

Do guests need to download an app or create an account?

No. Guests simply scan the QR code with their phone's camera (iPhone or Android). It opens a web page instantly in their browser, no app, no account, no password. Just scan, search their name, and find their seat.

What is the Guest Photo Gallery?

With Pro, guests can upload photos directly from their phone when they scan the QR code. All photos appear in a live gallery that you can view from your dashboard in real time. The gallery is hosted for 3 months after your event.

Can I upload my floor plan and menu?

Yes. With the Pro plan, you can upload your venue floor plan and menu as PDFs or images. Guests can view them directly on the event page after scanning the QR code.

Does FindMyTable work for events other than weddings?

Absolutely. FindMyTable works for any seated event, corporate dinners, galas, charity fundraisers, quinceañeras, birthday parties, retirement parties, rehearsal dinners, and more.

What happens if a guest's name isn't on the list?

Guests search by name and the system does a fuzzy match, so minor spelling differences still work. If a name truly isn't found, the guest sees a message suggesting they check with the host. You can add guests at any time, even from your phone on the day of the event.

What is the Digital Guest Book?

When guests scan the QR code, they can leave a short written message in the digital guest book. You receive all messages in your dashboard and can view them forever, a permanent keepsake from your event.

Can guests request songs?

Yes. With Pro, the event page includes a music requests feature where guests can submit song requests for the DJ or band. You see all requests in your dashboard.

How do I get my QR code?

After creating your event and adding guests, go to your dashboard and click 'Download QR Code.' You'll get a print-ready file. We recommend printing it as a 5×5 inch or larger sign for easy scanning at the entrance.

Is my data secure?

Yes. Your event data, guest list, and photos are stored securely. We don't sell your data or your guests' data to third parties.

What if I need help setting up?

Our support team is available via the Contact Support page. We typically respond within 24 hours. Most people find setup takes under 10 minutes.

Can I use FindMyTable for a corporate dinner or awards night?

Does it work for birthday parties and milestone events?

Does FindMyTable support multi-day events?

Can I make my event private with an access code?

Yes. With Pro, you can enable an access code gate on your event page. Guests must enter the invite code before they can see any event information. Share the code in your invitations. The QR code link alone is not enough to get in without the code.

Can I customise the look of my event page?

Yes. The Page Designer lets you choose from three layouts: Classic (solid colour header), Hero (full-width background photo with a dark overlay), and Minimal (clean white page). You can upload a hero background photo and drag to reposition the focal point. When you share the link on WhatsApp or iMessage, it previews with your photo, event name, venue, and date.

Can I import my guest list from a spreadsheet?

Yes. The Smart Import Wizard accepts any CSV format. Upload your spreadsheet and it detects the name, table, seat, and meal columns automatically. You can also add guests one at a time from the dashboard.

Can I update the seating after I've already shared the QR code?

Yes, and this is one of the most important things to know. The QR code is a permanent link to your event page. Every time you update the seating chart (moving guests, adding new arrivals, swapping tables) the QR code instantly reflects the change. No new code needed, no reprinting.
